Record your songs from Vernon
Studio time is in Kelowna, so the project is built around it: prepare from home, work in focused days, and listen back between visits.
If you live in Vernon or Coldstream, the studio is roughly 45 to 55 minutes south in Kelowna. That is a real drive, so the goal is for every visit to be productive. Most of that comes from what you do at home first.
Prepare from Vernon
- Send demos early. A phone voice memo of the song is enough. Ableton sets and Pro Tools sessions are welcome too.
- Send references. Two or three tracks that show the sound you want.
- Finish the lyrics. Rewriting in the studio is fine, but starting from a finished draft is faster.
- Decide the goal for each visit before you leave home.
A sample day
| Time | Plan |
|---|---|
| Morning | Arrive, talk through the goal for the day, get sounds |
| Midday | Track the core performance of the song |
| Afternoon | Overdubs and vocals |
| End of day | Rough mix to take home, with notes on what comes next |
A song-by-song budget
One song is $420 to $780 depending on rate, and includes 12 hours and 3 revisions. For a five-song project, the total runs from $1,995 to $3,705 with the 5% package discount. Fewer, longer days mean fewer round trips.
Questions
Can I do most of the project in a few long days?
Yes. Many Vernon artists prefer fewer, longer visits. We can plan the 12 hours per song around your travel.
What should I send before my first visit?
Demos of the songs, a few reference tracks, and a short note about what you want the finished release to sound like.
Can I get a rough mix to listen to at home?
Yes. Revision rounds are for exactly that: you listen, send notes, and we adjust.

A song, an EP, a full album. Start with a conversation and we will map out the project together.
