The final step, handled with care
Mastering is where a collection of songs becomes a release. We listen across the whole project, so levels, tone and flow feel like one record rather than a pile of separate tracks.
When mastering makes the most sense
- You have finished mixes you are happy with
- You are releasing several songs together and want them to sit well beside each other
- You need release-ready files for distribution
Mastering and your project
Mastering is built into long-term projects. For one-off work it is quoted with the project. Final masters, stems and release-ready files are delivered once your account is current. See long-term projects.
